Invesco Perpetual Premier League The Davidson Chalmers Scottish Open Championship
The Invesco Perpetual Premier League is in Scotland to start an intense period of competition with four legs in four weeks to complete the competition.
The first leg is the Davidson Chalmers Scottish Open Championship (CIC***) at Thirlestane with 69 combinations competing for the title but only two of the standout top four Invesco Perpetual Premier League ranked riders attending.
Second ranked Oliver Townend has two horses – Jackson d’Allez second at Punchestown CCI** in May, and Flint Curtis with whom he’ll be wanting an improved performance after Gatcombe two weeks ago.
Fourth ranked rider Polly Stockton has done well at Thirlestane in the past and will bring three horses Westwood Joker, Westwood Poser and Regulus that have all had placings this season.
Mary King’s lead in the Premier League is far from secure.
