The Whitakers earn selection for the European Equestrian Championships in Germany
September’s European Equestrian Championships in Germany will see three memebers of the same family represent England. John and his brother Micheal as well as their niece Ellen Whitaker will all compete for the championships as part of the British team.
All three will combine for the team events taking place during the championships.
The other remaining members of the British team, a team consists of five, are Tim Stockdale and David McPherson.
If successful, the team is a good chance to represent British Equestrian in the 2008 Oylimpic games.
